Wow! Min Jee and I have been working together for 20 days and she has already come along some way!
Weight ? 232 –> 221 –> 11 lbs lost!
Body fat ? 59.5% –> 57.5% –> 55.9 %, hence 3.6% lost!
Here is a happy Min Jee beaming in her photograph. She tells me that even if she can’t see it in the mirror yet, her clothes already feel looser on the waist.
The digits she saw on the scales during the past week motivated her so much that she walked more than the minimum 10,000 recommended daily steps with 16,000 last Wednesday and 7,500 this morning already (check out the screen shot of the podometer she loaded on her phone).
On the food side side she delights in banana, blueberry and kale smoothies or buckwheat waffles with a drop of agave nectar and banana (she loves them!) for breakfast. She loves red meat but now only eats it once a week. Instead it is: fish, chicken and tofu. She loves lasagna, so on busy work days she lunches on ready made gluten free lasagna accompanied by half an avocado. Full of good fats, the avo will do wonders for her distended skin as it will be put to the test.
She doesn’t feel tired at all, actually she is buzzing with energy and reveals that if she misses her morning planed excercise, she makes up for it in the evening regardless of what time she gets home from work. noexcuse is our favorite hashtag
Her fitness routine is simple:
30 minutes walk on an empty stomach after her morning sobacha and fresh lemon juice and 45 minutes cardio in the evening on her elliptical bike. On week-ends she takes long walks in the woods with her friends and her brother in law, a nurse, giver her a bit of a weight training session.
She told me she used to exercise so she could eat but now she trains for the pleasure of it. What a change in 20 days!
In 2 weeks, we meet with Pr. Hack, gastroenterologist at Stanford hospital for her medical check-up to ensure that my weight loss program as well as its results are squared up and sanctionned by a medical body as healthy for Min Jee.
